![]() Raymond S. Bradley(Bradley, Raymond S.)Raymond S. Bradley is University Distinguished Professor in the Department of Geosciences at the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and Director of its Climate System Research Center. Trained as a climatologist, he became interested in paleoclimatology early in his career and developed it as his primary research focus. Professor Bradley has spent extended periods in the Canadian High Arctic, Greenland, and northern Norway studying how climate changes have been recorded in the landscape, particularly in the sediments of lakes. He has written or edited more than a dozen books (and over 200 articles) on climate change, including Paleoclimatology, now in its 3rd edition, Global Warming and Political Intimidation, and Climate Since AD 1500. A Fellow of the American Geophysical Union and the American Association for the Advancement of Science as well as a Foreign Member of the Finnish Academy of Science and Letters, Bradley has received the Oeschger Medal of the European Geosciences Union and has been awarded Honorary doctorates from Lancaster University and Queen's University. ![]() ![]() 대표작
