존 앤더슨(Jon Anderson)
영국 카디프 대학교의 지리·지역계획 대학에서 인문지리학을 가르치고 있다. 주요 연구 관심사는 문화, 장소, 정체성 간의 상호관계이며, 특히 그러한 관계들이 만들어내는 행위와 실천 그리고 정치적 과정과 결과에 관심이 있다. 여기서 더 나아가 인문지리학의 연구 방법론, 장소 및 시민 정체성 문제, 환경 문제, 농촌 문제 등을 폭넓게 다루고 있다. 최근에 발표한 논문으로는 “The Country(side) is Angry: Emotion and Explanation in Protest Mobilization”[2012, Social&Cultural Geography 13(6)], “Managing trade-offs in ‘ecotopia’: becoming green at the Centre for Alternative Technology”[2012, Transactions of the Institute of British Geographers 37(2)] 등이 있다.
