크리스티안 헬무트 벤첼(Christian Helmut Wenzel)독일에서 태어나 미국 일리노이 대학교 어바나 샴페인(the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign)에서 수학 박사학위를, 독일 부퍼탈 대학교(Die Bergische Universit?t Wuppertal)에서 철학 박사학위를 취득하였다. 현재 국립 대만 대학교 철학과 교수로 재직하고 있으며 칸트의 철학, 미학, 인식론, 언어철학 및 수리철학이 주요 연구영역이다. 저서로 Das Problem der Subjektiven Allgemeing?ltigkeit des Geschmacksurteils bei Kant( Walter de Gruyter, 2000)가 있으며 주요 논문으로는 'On Wittgenstein's Notion of Meaning Blindness: Its Subjective, Objective, and Aesthetic Aspects'(2010), 'Kant’s Aesthetics: Overview and Recent Literature'(2009), 'Transcendental Philosophy and Mind-Body Reductionism'(2008) 등이 있다
