Sally GrindleySally Grindey is the award-winning author of over a dozen picture books including Shhh! (Andersen), winner of the UK's Children's Book Award, I Don't Want To (Little, Brown), and Wake Up Dad (Doubleday). She also writes novels for older children - including Smarties Prize Winner Spilled Water. Sally has three previous titles in the I Am Reading series The Giant Postman, Captain Pepper's Pets and The Perfect Monster which was shortlisted for the 2006 Nottingham Book Award. Sally lives in Cheltenham, Gloucester.
